Choosing Burgess Construction was one of the best decisions we made for our deck project. Communication was exceptional from the first quote through the final walkthrough. Anytime a question came up—during the build or even afterward—we heard back the same day.

As a woman-owned business, they were a pleasure to work with. They walked us through several design options, explained the costs clearly, and helped us create a deck that fit our budget without sacrificing quality. Everything was transparent, and the project stayed right on budget.

Our deck has become the heart of our home—a place where our family and extended family gather, relax, and make memories. Knowing it was built with care and attention to detail gives us peace of mind every time our kids are running around or we’re hosting a full house. We highly recommend Burgess Construction.

Burgess Construction resurfaced our 22ft x 10ft deck. We love the look of the Timber Tech larger boards than the smaller cedar boards. Job was done on time in one day.

I am very happy to have selected Burgess Construction to resurface my 20’ by 20’ cedar deck with TimberTech composite. Our old decking had become unsafe and unusable. They also completely rebuilt the stairs and benches.
Stephanie came to meet with me and quickly provided a detailed bid, with separate options that could be added or removed, to see the impact on overall project costs. I greatly appreciated this transparency.
Throughout the entire project they were responsive and professional.
My beautiful new deck was built with attention to detail and turned out even better than I expected.
I arranged multiple bids before deciding to go with Burgess. They were not the least expensive, but they did make me feel the most confident due to their experience level and high sense of trust.
We ran into a manufacturer defect in some of the deck boards and Burgess stepped in, contacted TimberTech and handled the resolution on our behalf. I am impressed by the professionalism and quick turnaround in getting everything taken care of.
I highly recommend Burgess Construction and would hire them again. They are true professionals and the entire team was very easy to work with.

Highly recommend Burgess Construction for your next deck project! We had three decks replaced and they did a great job. Highly competitive and fair pricing, quick and efficient installation, and beautiful work. I especially appreciated their communication with us, we knew what to expect going into the project and at every step along the way.

Had the best experience. My initial design had to iterate and the crew was with me every step of the way to make it happen. I now have a forever deck!

Burgess Construction was wonderful. Last year we needed a deck built fast for an unexpected funeral reception. They were able to squeeze us in and were done in time. The deck is beautiful and they did a great job with the stairs and handrails. They cleaned up wonderfully after themselves as well. I would definitely use them again for any decking needs!

Burgess Construction is simply amazing. Stephanie, Blaine, Pete and their entire crew took care of us like family. They did an incredible job building our dream deck in December 2023. We got everything we could have asked for. Between Stephanie and Blaine, they helped us design and then they built the deck efficiently, safely and we couldn't be happier. Then in November 2024, we had a tree come down onto the house, thru the deck roof and into the upper deck that was less than a year old! Burgess Construction to the rescue. Stephanie came and we decided to change the roof to a shingled design. Stephanie with the design, Blaine and Pete rebuilt the deck even better than before (we didn't even know it was possible given the amazing work the first time!) We are beyond happy with our new deck! Thank you doesn't even begin to cover it! They always listened to us, easy to communicate with, always available and we felt heard. They are just the best we could have hoped for!
